s we're nearing the end of the municipal election run, I'm just wanting to remind everyone that it is your voice, and your vote. We need to make our voices heard. We've been put on the back burner for so long, it's time to stand up and speak up! It is so important for us foreigners, to have someone that will represent us in the city council. Candidates have said other years, that they're going to work toward integration and inclusion. If, and when it does happen, it generally dies out again. We need this to happen. Not only for us, but for the future new faroese. I believe that having a foreigner in city council will definitely get integration and inclusion pushed to the surface.

We need to not just be heard, but also be seen. We have kids in daycare and school here, and we want the best for them. We want them to get the best out of being there, in regards to learning the language, and becoming contributing parts to their social circles. Structured lessons for kids, and people of all ages, will definitely be a start. As we grow older, integrating becomes arduous. The younger you are, the more accessible it is. My aim is to get this under control now, so we will be able to have a fulfilling and comfortable retirement later.
I will represent you to the best of my ability. I will speak for you, when you can't find the words. I have been in your shoes. Not knowing the language, and having just a small community to call your own. Let's get out there, make our voices heard and claim our seat at the table.
